While the 5-HT precursors tryptophan and 1-5-HTP cause an increase in serum prolactin concentration, a combination of 1-5-HTP with a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor was found to reduce the serum prolactin concentration. This combination seemed
Hash Marijuana Seeds Growing to behave like a DA agonist. This effect is not produced by the decarboxylase inhibitor per se. A possible explanation is that 5-HTP is converted to 5-HT in CA-ergic neurons, that 5-HT supersedes the CA from the stores, and that some of the CA reach the synaptic cleft and stimulate CA receptors. Another possible explanation is that 5-HTP decarboxylase is centrally inhibited as well, and that an effect of 5-HTP itself is involved here. In view of the observations made it is doubtful whether the therapeutic effect of 5-HTP combined with a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor in

The plants build up alkaloids during dry seasons
and draw upon them for growth when the rains come. If the plants are harvested
during or after a wet spell, the alkaloid content may have dropped below 50
percent. If you have a soil test kit, you can get a good indication of the potency of
cacti growing wild. If the soil is rich in nitrogen, the plants are likely to be rich in
alkaloids.
When harvesting peyote, many people uproot the entire plant. This is
unnecessary and wasteful. The roots contain no mescaline. Some of these plants
have taken a long time to reach their size. A cactus three inches in diameter may
be more than 20 years old. To collect peyote properly the button should be
cleanly decapitated slightly above ground level. When the roots are left intact
new buds will form where the old was removed. These will eventually develop
into full-size buttons which may be harvested as before. Faulty harvesting
method have seriously depleted populations of this cactus. Because of the
presence of several phenolic alkaloids peyote cacti do not spoil easily and may
be kept in their fresh form for several weeks after harvesting. If they are to be
kept longer than this they must be refrigerated, frozen, or dried. The enzymes
which cause the harvested plant to eventually decompose also destroy the
mescaline and other alkaloids. To dry peyote buttons lay them out in the hot sun
or in an oven at 250 degrees F until completely devoid of moisture.
OTHER PEYOTE-TYPE CACTI OF CENTRAL MEXICO
There are several cacti which are used by the Tarahumares and other tribes of
central Mexico as substitutes for peyote. Many of these cacti are now under
investigation for their alkaloidal content and sychopharmacological activity.
Progress is somewhat retarded in the studies of the effects of these plants
because almost all experimentation has been conducted on laboratory animals
rather than humans. Some of these cacti have been found to contain mescaline
and other related alkaloids with known sympathomimetic properties. Much further
research is needed on these plants and their activity. However, we will attempt to
bring the reader up to date on what is known about them at this time.
PEYOTILLO:
This small cactus is botanically called PELECYPHORA ASELLIFORMIS. It is
also known sometimes as the hatchet cactus because of its oddly flattened
tubercules. It is often found growing in the state of San Louis Potosi in central
Mexico. The plant contains traces of mescaline too minute to have any effect. It
also contains small amounts of anhalidine, anhaladine, hordenine, Nmethylmescaline,
pellotine, 3-demethyltrichocereine, B-phenethylamine, Nmethyl-
B-phenethylamine, 3,4-dimethoxy-B-pheneththyl-amine, N-methyl-3,4-
dimethoxy-B-phenethylamine, and 4-methoxy-B-phenethy- lamine. Most of these
are found in peyote but in much larger quantities.
TSUWIRI:
The botanical name of this cactus is ARIOCARPUS RETUSUS. The Huichol
name tsuwiri means F

was a respectable 8 weeks (the only virtue carried

smell, very good sativa high- quite psychoactive (trippy?). Little paranoia, very long high. Unless you grow very
big plants, yield is low, as could be expected from such a plant. At present I'm having great trouble with my EP

Moreover, in the study, eosinophilia (elevation of the special white blood homegrown cells associated with inflammation) was not reported in the 5-HTP group; in the control group, there was one case. the buds looked like I imagine WW looks,

know I won’t do it again."
"Aroma
It was nice to get something that smelled good in the grow to compensate for the smell, which I don’t like, of
the N x S when it is growing. It smells of citrus, fruity, with the skunk lurking in the background is the best
way I can describe it. It isn’t over powering but did require more than a baggy to contain the smell when I
brought an ounce to someone."
"Buzz
When I cut the bud at 37 days with the 50% withered flowers I test smoked it with a buddy on a ride. He
doesn’t smoke as much as I do but he isn’t a lightweight by any means, he smokes almost once a day I
guess. He missed 6 turns on a familiar ride in 1 hour and 15 minutes. He liked the buzz but was not happy
with it for driving since he was spacing out so much. I thought the whole thing was kind of funny myself and
I’m sure you know I was all over him on every missed turn. (Little did he know..I wasn’t exactly catching them
all either ;-) I didn’t like the buzz from this early bud at first, it was too speedy for me, but it did calm down
after a while. The other thing that wasn’t too impressive from it was the staying power of the buzz.
Now the buds harvested later were a completely different story. Mature buds have a unique buzz. It’s
definitely not couch lock weed but you can find comfort in your big buddy if you want to. It starts like a sativa
soar, then quickly settles into a body and mind buzz conducive to thought and guess what…you can then
verbalize those thoughts without difficulty ;-) This is a social indica."
"The buzz lasts quite a while and slowly turns into a couch lock thing if you don’t puff some more. Bottom
line-. As a head grower I would keep the plant just for the buzz I like the buzz since couch lock isn’t all there
is to life, I guess ;-) If I were still growing for dough I would love this plant and will keep it in case I get back
into the game someday.
Yo money tree folks… people like the looks and smell of this weed. I don't have any other comments on the
buzz yet but will include them in the additional T44 info that will be given in the next Flo Sheet.” – flick"

misery. Ended up with 1 female, 5 males, and 3 herms.
Again, like the rest of the Positronic stock grown out so far, these plants were close to identical in appearance.
They looked very much like the NL x Shiva that also came from Posi. To bad it didn’t take after the NL x Shiva
in all respects.
The one female was not very impressive grown from seed and turned herm. The buzz was acceptable but it
grew like chit. Very airy bud with little resin and a lot of leaf. The buzz made it worth keeping for a harvest from
clone one time to see if it could redeem itself. Because the buzz got better it was given one more chance even
though it still showed male flowers, not a lot but too many. The second time grown from clone it showed male
flowers again and didn’t improve much in quality or growth. So now it’s dead.
To be fair it could be that this plant just couldn’t handle being flowered so early and freaked, doubtful but
possible." - flick ime for any other
questions.
If and only if we remember two methodological qualifications will our analysis
of the responses be meaningful:
1. The form of the study instrument—open-ended or forced choice—gives us results
that are superficially different (the magnitude of the responses, for instance), but
fundamentally the same (the order of the responses).
2. Individuals who do not mention a given effect on our open-ended question are not
thereby automatically agreeing that marijuana does not have that effect on
them—they just did not think of it at that moment in that situation ( although we do
have a certain amount of confidence that those who did not mention the effect were
(10 of 34)4/15/2004 1:07:27 AM
The Marijuana Smokers - Chapter 7
less likely to experience it than those who did mention it).
Overviewing the responses elicited, we see that there are over 200 totally distinct
effects described.
(We have presented only those which ten or more subjects mentioned;
there are almost 150 effects each of which was mentioned by fewer than ten respondents.)
Sixty-four of these were proffered by single individuals, completely idiosyncratic
responses that could not in any way be classified with
Description Of Himalayan Gold Cannabis other responses which were
somewhat similar. For instance, one individual said that she had the feeling of "being
sucked into a vortex." Another reported more regular bowel movements while intoxicated.
A third said that she could feel her brains dripping out of her ears. In addition to the sixtyfour
unique and therefore totally unclassifiable responses, there were twenty-eight where
only two respondents agreed that marijuana had that effect on them. However valid these
responses might be to the individual himself, they are not useable to us, since they are still
quite idiosyncratic.
Although the diversity of the responses was in itself an interesting finding, the picture
was not totally chaotic. Each individual offered an average of roughly ten different effects
of the drug as a description of the high. Some of these effects were offered independently
by a large percentage of the interviewees although, curiously, none attracted a majority;
every effect described was given by a minority of the sample. That is, in spite of the huge
diversity in the responses, some agreement prevailed.
Marijuana users seem to describe the effects of the drug in overwhelmingly favorable
terms. Certainly the vast majority of the effects mentioned would be thought positive if
the judge did not know that marijuana touched off the state in question.
Let us suppose
that we have been told that the list characterizes how some people react to a warm spring
day; our sense would be that they think well of its effects. Thus, most of the
characteristics of the marijuana high, as described by its users, would be looked at as
beneficial.
Yet with the knowledge that the triggering agent was marijuana, the judge
reinterprets his favorable opinion and decides

e, the things I was doing might be silly, but they felt
very natural.
Hunger and taste was another question which I singled out specifically; 150
respondents, or about 75 percent of the sample, said that they had eaten food while they
were high. Of this 150, six said that there was no difference between eating high and
eating straight, that marijuana had no effect on the nature of the eating experience. Eight
percent said that the experience was worse in some way; they had less of an appetite, or
the food tasted worse, and that they did not enjoy the experience of eating food when they
were high. Thirty-eight percent said that the most dominant characteristic about being
high and eating was that one's paradise appetite was stimulated; one had a tremendous appetite
while high. Thirty-one percent said that the food tasted more delicious high than
ordinarily, that eating was a more enjoyable experience. Eleven percent said, merely, that
they were more acutely aware of taste, that they could discern the various tastes more
accurately while high. The remaining respondents said that Bluehaze they were more aware, above
all, of the texture of the food while high, that the most important thing was that they
suddenly desired unusual combinations of foods, that they wanted to eat weird foods they
had never considered before, and that they had a special craving for sweet things.
We should also expect sexual activity to be closely intertwined with, and powerfully
influenced by, smoking marijuana, and in this, our expectations are well supported. Threequarters
of our interviewees said that they had experienced sex while high on marijuana.
We asked several specific questions on the difference between sex high on marijuana and
sex normally.
First I asked, "Do you think being high on marijuana stimulates your sex interest, or
not?" More than a third of the respondents said that marijuana had no effect on their
sexual desire. Five percent said that marijuana had a negative effect, that it turned them
off sexually. Thirteen percent said that the effect depends on their mood or on their sexual
partner. In this group, a common response among the women was that marijuana acts as a
sexual Northern Pride stimulant when they're with someone with whom they're already intimate, but

when they smoke with a stranger, the prospect of sex becomes even more distasteful than
ordinarily. For these women, marijuana seems to polarize sexual desire.
But 44 percent, a
strong plurality, replied that marijuana definitely increased their sexual desire.
Next, I asked, "Is your enjoyment of sex any different high?" The respondents were less
divided on this question. An overwhelming majority, 68 percent, replied that Achat Cannabis marijuana
increased their sexual enjoyment, that their orgasmic pleasure was heightened by the drug.
Yet most scientists claim that in physiological terms marijuana lacks an aphrodisiac effect.

P.75 = Plants leaning MUCH more in the direction of Princess in floral cluster and bud structure, scent/flavor

FROSTY buds in 7 weeks! Generally uniform seedlings with minor differences in Seedbank floral formation and some height
variance, but the smoke is quite consistent from all plants - Dense, heavy nuggets of fruity scented & flavored
(like wild berries) and covered in resin glands, the dried buds have distinctly ORANGE pistils.

psychosis" among his 30,ooo patients, and, outside the clinic, he says that he has
witnessed only three cases of marijuana-induced psychosis—"extreme paranoid reactions
characterized by fear of arrest and discovery."51
I have stated that most physicians dismiss the pothead's point that marijuana is less
dangerous than alcohol as irrelevant.
Yet, Joel Fort, a physician, claims that alcohol is the
most dangerous of all drugs currently available in America, whether legally or illegally.
He has developed a scheme characterizing dimensions of drug "hardness," i.e.,
dangerousness. Fort's feeling is that any impartial observer will arrive at least the
following list of dimensions of hardness: addiction (or psychic dependency), insanity,
tissue damage, violence, and death. Thus, some drugs may be hard in one way

the smell unless
you have some form of an EXTRACTOR FAN or an OZONE
GENERATOR (Figure 4.1).
Figure 4.1 - This is a home made Ozone Generator. Picture by
Shipperke.
In some indoor set-ups a fan can be used to extract any
unwanted smell away from the corridor outside. It can be pumped
through a window or filter to another area where the smell will not be
noticed. Not only that but plants love fresh air and wind, so the fan can
do two things at once for you. An ‘Ozone Generator’ is a device that
can be purchased from most grow shops. It helps to get rid of cannabis
odor problems.
111
Apart from the smell problem the other problem you will have
is with fires. Now this is a very important thing to know about. Some
people growing indoors tend to use very shoddy lights with even
shoddier fixtures.
NEVER EVER USE ANY LIGHTING KIT AND FIXTURES
THAT ARE DAMAGED OR NOT SUITABLE FOR INDOOR
GROWING.
Many people have lost their homes because of this problem.
Taking short cuts with lighting and electricity is a big no no. I have
heard off and met many people who have come home only to find a
fire brigade outside who have just finished putting out the fire which
engulfed part of the house. The same thing happens in every case. The
grower gets closer and sees a number of police officers looking around
the room. The fire officer points to the cause of the fire - a half melted
light fixture with burnt out sockets. The officer looks around and sees
the plants all crispy and black. They both know what this is all about.
Why do they know? Because they have seen it a hundred times before.
New Marijuana growers nearly always make the mistake of
creating inferior lighting set-ups. Needless to say that this is because of
three things.
(1) They don’t have the right information because of
government censorship laws. (2) They do not have the money to invest
in a proper
Hydroponic Hemp Pukka lighting system. (3) They just want to grow their pot quick
and fast and cheaply.
We will discuss proper lighting systems in

another chapter.
OUTDOOR SECURITY
As we have said before the best way to secure your outdoor
garden plants is via a shelter. One must also remember that some
outdoor plants do smell and this can carry over a short distance given
the right wind and the right climate. Most people would not know
what the smell is but some DO! Many growers get around this problem
by growing cannabis plants that have very little smell during
flowering. These types of strains are listed by most seed-banks. Again
you should ask about strains that have low smell levels. All Cannabis
plants smell to some degree during flowering.

questions. If and only if we remember two methodological qualifications will our analysis
of the responses be meaningful:
1. The form of the study instrument—open-ended or forced choice—gives us results
that are superficially different (the magnitude of the responses, for instance), but
fundamentally the same (the order of the responses).
2. Individuals who do not mention a given effect on our open-ended question are not
thereby automatically agreeing that marijuana does not have that effect on
them—they just did not think of it at that moment in that situation ( although we do
have a certain amount of confidence that those who did not mention the effect were

less likely to experience it than those who did mention it).
Overviewing the responses elicited, we see that there are over 200 totally distinct
effects described. (We have presented only those which ten or more subjects mentioned;
there are almost 150 effects each of which was mentioned by fewer than ten respondents.)
Sixty-four of these were proffered by single individuals, completely idiosyncratic
responses that could not in any way be classified with other responses which were
somewhat similar.
Some of these effects were offered independently
by a large percentage of the interviewees although, curiously, none attracted a majority;
every effect described was given by a minority of the sample.
Thus, most of the
characteristics of the marijuana high, as described by its users, would be looked at as
beneficial. Yet with the knowledge that the triggering agent was marijuana, the judge
reinterprets his favorable opinion and decides Medical: multiple sclerosis “This state of the art Indica is the result of over 20 years of select inbreeding. Bred

How to Make a Spore Print
Once you have a mature mushroom, you are in a position to make a
spore print and use it to continue cultivation of mushrooms. The cap
should be harvested when the mushroom cap has become flat or is
starting to invert.
Sterility is key. Adaptation-25 Be careful not to do anything that will
compromise the sterility of your spore print.
The typical procedure is
to cut the stalk off of a mature mushroom very close to the cap. A
sterilized knife or razor blade is used to do this. The cap is then laid on
a sterile piece of tissue paper or card stock and a small glass set over it.
The glass is needed for two reasons. First, it keeps the spore print
insulated from airborne contaminates. Secondly, it helps keep the
humidity high so the mushroom cap can continue to live and drop its
spores. One note of caution. Some humidity usually needs to be

a piece of paper for the print that fits entirely inside the glass and
