questions. If and only if we remember two methodological qualifications will our analysis
of the responses be meaningful:
1. The form of the study instrument—open-ended or forced choice—gives us results
that are superficially different (the magnitude of the responses, for instance), but
fundamentally the same (the order of the responses).
2. Individuals who do not mention a given effect on our open-ended question are not
thereby automatically agreeing that marijuana does not have that effect on
them—they just did not think of it at that moment in that situation ( although we do
have a certain amount of confidence that those who did not mention the effect were

less likely to experience it than those who did mention it).
Overviewing the responses elicited, we see that there are over 200 totally distinct
effects described. (We have presented only those which ten or more subjects mentioned;
there are almost 150 effects each of which was mentioned by fewer than ten respondents.)
Sixty-four of these were proffered by single individuals, completely idiosyncratic
responses that could not in any way be classified with other responses which were
somewhat similar. For instance, one individual said that she had the feeling of "being
sucked into a vortex." Another reported more regular bowel movements while intoxicated.
A third said that she could feel her brains dripping out of her ears. In addition to the sixtyfour
unique and therefore totally unclassifiable responses, there were twenty-eight where
only two respondents agreed that marijuana had that effect on them. However valid these
responses might be to the individual himself, they are not useable to us, since they are still
quite idiosyncratic.
Although the diversity of the responses was in itself an interesting finding, the picture
was not totally chaotic. Each individual offered an average of roughly ten different effects
of the drug as a description of the high. Some of these effects were offered independently
by a large percentage of the interviewees although, curiously, none attracted a majority;
every effect described was given by a minority of the sample. That is, in spite of the huge
diversity in the responses, some agreement prevailed.
Marijuana users seem to describe the effects of the drug in overwhelmingly favorable
terms. Certainly the vast majority of the effects mentioned would be thought positive if
the judge did not know that marijuana touched off the state in question. Let us suppose
that we have been told that the list characterizes how some people react to a warm spring
day; our sense would be that they think well of its effects. Thus, most of the
characteristics of the marijuana high, as described by its users, would be looked at as
beneficial. Yet with the knowledge that the triggering agent was marijuana, the judge
reinterprets his favorable opinion and decides

expected, Cinderella 99 has topped all previous results - her high is heavily influenced by Haze; clear, energetic

Shivas align="left"> containing this alkaloid is not difficult to
perform and is perhaps one of the most rewarding alchemical processes that one
can attempt. The chemicals required for this process are readily available and
their purchase arouses no suspicion or interest on the part of Government
agencies. The equipment employed is not expensive or particularly complicated
or can be constructed very easily from ordinary household items. The entire
process can be carried out in any kitchen in the matter of hours by following the
instructions below and in the final stages one can verify the success of the
procedure by actually watching the crystals of mescaline precipitate in the
solution.
One kilo (2.2 lbs) of dried peyote buttons may yield between 10 and 60
grams of pure white needle crystals of mescaline depending on the potency of
the plants used. On average the yield is about 20 grams.
The usual underground
price of a kilo of dried peyote ranges between $125 and $250 (25 to 50 cents per
button). From indians in the southwestern USA the price is closer to $50 (10
cents per button).
The street price for a gram of pure mescaline is $20 to $30 - if
one is lucky enough to find it. One can obtain from a kilo of dried peyote $200 to
$1200 worth of mescaline. If San Pedro is employed on may anticipate a yield of
3 to 12 grams of mescaline per kilo of dried cactus. One can legally purchase a
kilo of dried San Pedro for $5 to $10 and from it extract $60 to $250 worth of pure
mescaline.
Grind a kilo of the dried cactus, place this in a large pressure cooker, cover with
distilled water, and boil for 30 minutes.
Strain the liquids and save them. Return
the pulp to the pot, add more water and boil again for 30 minutes. Strain the
liquids and combine them with the first strainings. Repeat this process about five
times or until the pulp no longer has a bitter taste. Discard the pulp and reduce
the volume of the combined strainings by boiling in an open pot. Do not use
aluminum ware. When the liquids have been concentrated to the thickness of
cream (about one quart), stop the boiling and stir in 400 grams of sodium
hydroxide (lye). This makes the mescaline more soluble in benzene and less in
water. If a large separatory funnel is available pour the liquids into it and add
1600 ml of benzene. Shake the funnel well for five minutes and let it stand for two
hours. If a separatory funnel is not available the process can be carried out in a
one gallon jug with a siphon attached.
After standing for 2 hours the water layer will settle to the bottom and the
benzene layer will float to the top. Between the two
Hillbilly Dreams layers will be a thin emulsion
layer of mixed water and benzene. Drain off the water and emulsion layers if you
are using a separatory funnel or siphon off the benzene layer if you are using the
makeshift jug-siphon apparatus. Be certain that neither the water or emulsion
layers get into the benzene layer when separating. If any of these layers d
s are well mixed in the spore
syringe. Often, it takes several tries to get the spores fully broken apart
and well mixed.
If the spores in the print have been dried and are not fresh, it is best to
wait six hours to use the spore syringe. The spores need to rehydrate. If
your in a hurry, the spores can still rehydrate in the culture jars.
How to Make a Spore Print
Once you have a mature mushroom, you are in a position to make a
spore print and use it to continue cultivation of mushrooms. The cap
should be harvested when the mushroom cap has become flat or is
starting to invert.
Sterility is key. Adaptation-25 Be careful not to do anything that will
compromise the sterility of your spore print. The typical procedure is
to cut the stalk off of a mature mushroom very close to the cap. A
sterilized knife or razor blade is used to do this. The cap is then laid on
a sterile piece of tissue paper or card stock and a small glass set over it.
The glass is needed for two reasons. First, it keeps the spore print
insulated from airborne contaminates. Secondly, it helps keep the
humidity high so the mushroom cap can continue to live and drop its
spores. One note of caution. Some humidity usually needs to be
(10 of 15) 5/1/2002 6:54:20 PM]
How To Grow Magic Mushrooms The Magic Mushroom Growers Guide (page 3)
allowed to escape. You want the environment inside the glass to be
slightly less humid than the environment in which the mushroom was
grown. If you have problems getting a cap to drop its spores, try using
a piece of paper for the print that fits entirely inside the glass and
spreading out a wash cloth flat on the table. Let the edge of the glass
seal to the wash cloth instead of the paper. This will usually allow
enough humidity to escape to cause the cap to drop spores.
If everything goes well, after a day or two the cap will drop its spores.
Adaptation-26 There will be a purple-brown dust underneath the cap.
These are the spores.
Eye glass lens paper is good source of sterile tissue paper. A box of
waxy tissue paper that deli's use to pick up donuts and rolls is another
excellent source of sterile tissue paper. Card stock (such as a recipe
card) is a bit easier to use later when you want to prepare a spore
syringe, but you have to expend the extra effort up front to sterilize it.
To use card stock, place in a 425 degree F. oven for 15 minutes. Let it
cool with a glass over it before you place the cap on it.
Once you have a spore print on the paper, remove the glass and cap.
Fold the spore print in half and seal the edges so air can not get in. A
piece of scotch tape on each side will do nicely. The spores will stay
viable for 18 months if they are kept in a cool, dry and dark spot. If
you place a small amount of desiccant in the bottom of a film container
and place a cotton ball on top of the desiccant, you have an ideal
container to keep the spore print. The cotton ball will keep the
desiccant from touchi

"""After being smuggled into a refugee camp in Peshawar while lying on the floor of a car, Nevil made contact

his uncle, a man known as Mister Hashish. Surrounded by four men pointing machine guns at him, Nevil set
about negotiating with Mr. Hashish, a Mujahedin commander, and finally persuaded him to send a squad of
his men 280 miles into Soviet occupied territory and come back with two kilos of healthy Mazari seeds.
Nevil added "" He thought I was ridiculous because I didn't want to buy hashish or opium.
Nobody had ever
come out to buy seeds, and at first he had no idea what I was talking about. I tried there trying to explain
genetics to this tribal hash leader in sign language. When he finally figured out what I wanted, he asked too
much money. I took a zero off his price and gave him 10% up front. He called me a bandit, but I had the

"I never had any problems with infestations or nutrients. You can give them high nutrient doses and they do
fine. Flowering time tends to be long, between 56-70 days, depending on the mother, although you can go
short, but it hurts the yield. Yields in general were not great, but then neither is my growing technique and
experience. Others report pretty good yields from what I hear.

While the 5-HT precursors tryptophan and 1-5-HTP cause an increase in serum prolactin concentration, a combination of 1-5-HTP with a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor was found to reduce the serum prolactin concentration. This combination seemed to behave like G 13 a DA agonist. This effect is not produced by the decarboxylase inhibitor per se. A Of Effects Of possible explanation is that 5-HTP is converted to 5-HT in CA-ergic neurons, that 5-HT supersedes the CA from the stores, and that some of the CA reach the synaptic cleft and stimulate CA receptors. Another possible explanation is that 5-HTP decarboxylase is centrally inhibited as well, and that an effect of 5-HTP itself is involved here. In view of the observations made it is doubtful whether the therapeutic effect of 5-HTP combined with a peripheral decarboxylase inhibitor in depressions and myoclonus can in fact be atributed to activation of central serotonergic systems.

Many people have lost their homes because of this problem.
Taking short cuts with lighting and electricity is a big no no. I have
heard off and met many people who have come home only to find a
fire brigade outside who have just finished putting out the fire which
engulfed part of the house. The same thing happens in every case. The
grower gets closer and sees a number of police officers looking around

the plants all crispy and black. They both know what this is all about.
Why do they know? Because they have seen it a hundred times before.
New Marijuana growers nearly always make the mistake of
creating inferior lighting set-ups. Needless to say that this is because of
three things. (1) They don’t have the right information because of
government censorship laws. (2) They do not have the money to invest
in a proper lighting system. (3) They just want to grow their pot quick

OUTDOOR SECURITY
As we have said before the best way to secure your outdoor
garden plants is via a shelter. One must also remember that some
outdoor plants do smell and this can carry over a short distance given
the right wind and the right climate. Most people would not know
what the smell is but some DO! Many growers get around this problem
by growing cannabis plants that have very little smell during
flowering. These types of strains are listed by most seed-banks. Again
you should ask about strains that have low smell levels. All Cannabis
plants smell to some degree during flowering.

drug." Not all cannabis advocates will agree on this question, but the range of opinion will
be relatively narrow, at least as compared with the other side. The radical position is that
the drug is completely innocuous, harmless in every conceivable way: "... marijuana... is in
all respects socially useful, and absolutely nonaddictive. We defy anyone to produce a
shred of evidence that marijuana. .. produces at any time any adverse, depressive, or toxic
effect."4] (The "completely innocuous" position is not to be taken absolutely literally,
since an "overdose" of water may prove to be fatal; what is meant is that cannabis presents
no dangers beyond such commonly accepted substances as coffee, tea aspirin, wine, and
food.) The most conservative pro-pot position is that the drug may, given an unfavorable
setting or taken by an unstable personality, precipitate a temporary state which could, by
some definition, conceivably be labeled as something potentially dangerous. In general,
users do not take the propagandized "dangers" of the drug seriously, since they have spent
hundreds and thousands of hours high, and have seen dozens of others high, with little or
no ill effect.
There is more-or-less complete agreement on the relative harm of the drug: that
marijuana is, for instance, far less dangerous than liquor.5] Another comparison often
made is that marijuana is less (or no more) dangerous than driving an automobile. Both of
these arguments are open to empirical test and could, conceivably, be supported or refuted
with data.
The alcohol-marijuana comparison carries a great deal of weight among potheads. They
feel that they have a solid case for the irrationality of the marijuana prohibition if liquor is,
in fact, more dangerous than their own choice of drug. They contend that drinking carries
with it very real dangers (although a high proportion of marijuana smokers also drink,
very few do so heavily), whereas marijuana is, at worst, no more dangerous, and at best,
completely innocuous. "... alcohol is frequently productive of a hangover, cirrhosis of the

A marijuana user, in fact, feels a sense of superiority to the liquor drinker, a feeling that
can be labeled moral, ideological and cultural snobbery. There is the faint hint of religious
zeal in claiming a convert, of winning proselyte from "lush." The fact that so many young
Americans once involved with alcohol are becoming "heads" is confirmation to the
potsmoker that his intoxicating agent is spiritually preferable. The marijuana user will
refer to the liquor drinker in condescending terms as lacking in style, sophistication,

of Cinderella 99 and Genius, 90% of everything else you grow won't come close!!! So clone all your females, if
you let this one slip through your fingers you will be bummed!!! The bud from Apollo has a sweet fruity/citrus
taste, and a high that gives you the energy to go out and do something...even if you can't remember what it
is!!! Every one that has smoked the A (my version is the A-13, Genius crossed with Cinderella88.The A-11 is
even better then A-13 according to BG!!!) has said it is some
Whitewidow of the best they have ever smoked!"- greenbear

(Big Bud x Skunk #1) 23.25 oz. Cured, VERY well manicured. Also made 2 lb of butter, that turned out way too
strong) and 10 grams of hash. There were 8 1/2 plants grown from clone(one was a complete runt, I don't
know why I even let her live). Plants were vegged in an aeroponic/NFT system for 3 weeks under a 1000MH with
an AgroSun bulb. They were about 18-20 inches tall when switched. Each plant was topped twice. Flowering was
in an NFT system. The first 2 weeks a single 1000MH w/ AgroSun was used. A second identical light was added
at the third week. Flowering took about 70 days. These were the most crystallized plants of this variety that
I've ever grown.
Slow cured over 1 1/2 months.
First on newspaper, then into paper bags, then into mason jars.
Smell is incredible. High is incredible. Normally I find BB a little less potent that I'd like. This crop just floors
me. High starts out mellow, upbeat, then when you start the second round of bong hits it just hits you like a
wave. Immediate couch melt. Cancel your plans, you're not going anywhere. But it lets your mind stay
somewhat sharp, which is the best thing about it. Overall I was pretty pleased with this harvest. I had a couple
of problems in the early weeks of flowering with mites, and then nearer the end the cold started to set in a bit.
So considering that I was pleased with the yield. Although it did suffer the typical Big Bud problem of slightly
looser buds. I had one plant that was a monster! A good 8 inches taller than all the other plants, I ended up
having to tie her down. 4 huge colas each around 4x11. That plant probably yielded almost 4 ounces alone -

"AFOAF grew some (Apollo) recently and got an indica phenotype that finished around 50 days, and a Durban
phenotype that took 60 days.
The indica phenotype is very resinous, clear high. Not racy nor paranoid. Dense buds, low odor.
The Durban phenotype has a stronger high than pure Durban, very clear, very racy, even paranoid. Buds very
fluffy, and they flop over from their own weight. Definitely a creeper phenotype in the gene pool (Durban).
The mom of A-11 is Genius, an F2 of Jack Herer crossed to an unknown male (likely a Durban imho). The dad
of A-11 is Cinderella.
Genius expresses the NL and Skunk side of the gene pool. Cindy expresses the Durban and haze side.
imho, for the A-11 to have 2 phenotypes in the F1, one of which is fluffy, sweet, and floppy like Durban, means
that the Durban gene is in both Apollo and Cindy." - Zorro

“Cinderella 99 will be available from Brothers Grimm in January (’99). This is the "cubed" generation resulting
from backcrossing Princess 3 My San Pedro Cactus Won T Gain Girth times with her successive male offspring. Expect a true-breeding strain with the
same short flowering period, tropical fruit flavour, and soaring cerebral high. “ - MrSoul
happens. And
this really insults this cop. Seriously, 'cuz he's probably having trouble
getting it from his wife once a week. And this whole thing—jealousy, man,
is an animal instinct. It's all an extension, man, a sexual extension. The cops
are a strange phenomenon. They go after the people that look weird,
because they figure that probably, well, this is my guess, they figure that
these are the kids that are into the revolution, they're obviously revolting in
some way.
Many observers of the American drug scene disagree with this characterization and
maintain that, on the whole, the actual implementation of the harsh penalties for marijuana
possession are very rarely carried out, especially for small quantities obviously intended
for one's own use. Former Commissioner Giordano has been quoted as saying that the
chance that an apprehended college student with a single marijuana cigarette will actually
be jailed "is absolutely nil."
In fact, the police will often express disinterest in arresting the marijuana dabbler, the

once, twice or a dozen-time user. They say that their real target is the supplier, the dealer,
the narcotics peddler who makes a profit on misery:
Our Bureau is not interested in arresting the young student user especially
those who become innocently involved. We are not interested in giving
these youngsters a prison record which will hamper them throughout life,
which will deny them, and society, professional careers. We are interested
in getting at the source, the supplier, the pusher, the drugiteer, the rackiteer
who is behind the distribution.... We are not interested in arresting students;
we are interested in preventing... drugs from invading our campuses and
student population; we are interested in apprehending the outside distributor
who is working making the drugs available to our students; we are
interested in protecting the bulk of the student population from being
exposed to... drugs and from being innocently arrested or raided concerning
violations or narcotics laws...7]
Doubtless most police officers do not take so tolerant and lenient a stand on marijuana
use. (In fact, Bellizzi himself also stated, in the same paper just cited, "Every user is a
potential danger to the general public.") The level at which the clearest distinction is made
between the dealer (especially the large-scale dealer) and the user is at the federal level;
even before the nullification of the "Marihuana Tax Act," most arrests at the federal level
were for dealing, not for simple possession. At the local level, however, the officer is
more likely to see a grave threat even in the occasional user, and will arrest anyone whose
use is detected on whom he can make a reasonable case. However, as we will make clear
shortly, a great deal is determined by the strategies chosen for detection.

“These buds are army-green colored, crystally, and evenly covered with long dark orange (almost brown) hairs.
Broken up, these buds release the scent Hanf

The smoke is smooth, non-expansive and has a mild sweet taste. Although the high does not hit

“Northern lights #2 = originally a Hindu Kush X Thai cross. It was selectively inbred and developed into a stable
almost all Kush type cross that is mostly indica.”
“I haven't done #5, but # 2 (Oasis) was great. Most people say that the NL strains have little or no taste or
smell, but my experience with #2 was that it had an oniony, garlicky smell and taste. The buzz was it.
Couch-lock, but surprisingly psychoactive, given indica's reputation. I don't think you can go wrong with a strain
that highly touted.” - Skunkman“Northern lights 2 = originally a Hindu Kush X Thai cross. It was selectively inbred and developed into a stable

“I grew Sensi Seeds NL#5 and it was one of the best plants I had ever seen. VERY distinctive aroma and taste,
I agree with Skunkman, its like a psychedelic couchlock, the buzz goes for loooong. Plus its one of the best
indoor plants I ever saw, very short and compact, mega-phat top-cola, pretty fast (8 weeks), wont grow much
longer after inducing bloom, excellent flower/leaf ratio. I had good 400 gr./s.m. which I consider nice. Only
drawback I noticed was you better watch the air humidity, they have a tendency to catch bud rot, and the colas
are just too fat and sticky so the air won’t go into. But when you keep moisture down to max. 50% rh. you
should do well. To my experience they are true-breeding, but on the other hand I heard that too much
inbreeding out of a small number of species might cause some problems and show up some indica aspects
you may not want to have. I heard of NL#5 F2 that smelled and tasted like shit and had a very dull buzz.” -

nice. Its a real tough strain, eats ferts big time, not the strongest most devastating buzz, however it has a
long duration 4 hours, but a repeat for sure, the strain has really "grown on me." Its just an all-around good
strain, now if it took 55-60 days it would be history, its speed to harvest is a big consideration.-Budm
